techno-Babble Razzle-Dazzle
No more clue than yesterday
They said AI was going to help us learn, and in some ways maybe it does. But honestly I have no more idea how to add new pages to my website today outside of my ability to use the dg-publish option with notes inside obsidian. I want to add custom pages to the site. This is the same problem I've always had with hosting providers as well. I also want to customize the look and overall vibe of this stock template into something truly my own aesthetic.
I mean, I know where in the repo to make the changes. I don't know why that's the spot or what it means. Even with help from that free tier of GitHub copilot and chatGPT.
My understanding of it all is still lesser than desirable.
One step at a time though, you can't eat a buffalo in one bite.
I think this is the only new thing on the site today. But I did successfully clone the site repo locally, and copy it to a test branch and installed vs code and GitHub copilot. Then I even fired up a test server locally to figure out the workflow for adding things to the custom-styles. But I didn't have time earlier to get any changes actually tested. Next 3 days are pretty busy too, so idk when those changes will go live.
Also wanting to make some live stats widgets for internal use as well as site use. A word counter seems a good first step, then I can turn that into a gamified component to incentivize further productivity.
It's up to each one of us to build systems that propel us to our own growth.
And the best way is that which capitalizes on our natural habits and paradigm.
