Everything Good Happening All At Once

Exponentials are an interesting thing. We humans don't often conceptualize them correctly with our intuition. They compound by orders of magnitude and very quickly grow to bogglingly large numbers in far less steps than most of us want to estimate it taking.

Why does that matter?

Because we're there now. At that point in human civilization. We're at that inflection point where advancements start happening so fast that multiple overlapping technologies will begin emerging solving the same or similar problems from multiple sources as the coherence of proper distribution of computing resources is not governed. This is not necessarily a bad thing though.

More paths up the mountain make the topology of the mountain more interesting.

Singularity

It's a novel concept but one that I think makes most of us humans miss the point. The canaries were in the coal mine leading up to it all along the way, we just didn't know how to identify them. At least not a decade ago or longer, there are some problems you can't solve until they become a practical bottleneck rather than conceptual grey-area.

I believe the Singularity is upon us now, it's the curve that only gets steeper from here.
