Carp Them Diems
I spent a long time in my life wrestling with chronic depression. It was in many ways like that dragonball anime idea about training in higher gravity, except for life and living. These days I am grateful for my struggles because of how resilient that they made me and the skills I learned in mental control and perspective adjustment.
One of the better lessons I learned is how to relax and rest when it is needed. And it is needed regularly, especially if you're anything like me and always putting yourself under impossible pressure to perform.
No man is an island.
Remember to breathe, pace yourself, and get your rest. Otherwise you will always underperform.
